Voncile Mooney, 88, of Cumming, died Nov. 22, 2013.

Voncile was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, but most of all she loved the Lord with all her heart and lived life accordingly. She was a lifelong member of Salem Baptist Church who loved her church and church family dearly.

Her husband, J.B. Mooney; parents, A.S. and Ruby Collins Howard, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Stanley and Diane Mooney of Gainesville, Ronnie and Frances Mooney of Cumming; daughter and son-in-law, Paula and Don Landers of Gainesville; grandchildren, Leeanne and Tim Mullinax, Dawn and Matthew Sosebee, Steve and Emilie Mooney, Stacy and Amanda Mooney, Mark and Terri Mundy, Matthew Mundy; great-grandchildren, Katherine Mullinax, Kendall Sosebee, Vada Mooney, Conner Sosebee, Jordan Mooney and Clara Mooney; stepbrother and sisters-in-law, H.G. and Elizabeth Carlyle, Margaret Carlyle; various other relatives also survive.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Nov. 25 at Salem Baptist Church with the Revs. Shad Faulkner, Donnie Nix, Bud Sutton and Keith Martin officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery.

Flowers were accepted, or memorial donations were asked to be made to the Salem Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, c/o Vicki Stanford, 7350 Jotem Down Road, Gainesville, GA 30506.

Ingram Funeral Home and Crematory of Cumming was in charge of the arrangements.
