Vera Mae Lee Barrett, 74, of Dawsonville, died Jan. 11, 2011.

She was of the Baptist faith.

Her father and mother, Rayford and Agnes Bagwell; brothers, Horace and George Bagwell; and sisters, Dersie Harmon and Lois Hood, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her husband, Joe Barrett of Dawsonville; daughters, Gerald and Peggy Swanson, Radford and JoAnn Brownlee, Dorsey and Denna Cole, all of Dawsonville; son, Jerry and Tina Barrett of Dawsonville; brothers, Rayford Bagwell, Raymond Bagwell; sisters, Vena Burnett, Hazel Bagwell, Shirley Helton; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; various other relatives also survive.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Jan. 15 at Ingram Funeral Home Chapel.

Interment followed in Haw Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.

Ingram Funeral Home and Crematory of Cumming was in charge of the arrangements.
