Valerie Ann Doss, 66, of Cumming, died June 6, 2017.

Born Dec. 12, 1950 in Chicago, Ill., to the late Chester A. Strycula, her mother Rita M. Strycula survives her.

Other survivors include her daughter, Christie Hutchins of Dawsonville; sister, Deborah Strycula of Dunwoody; three grandsons and one granddaughter.

The family received friends from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. June 9 at McDonald and Son Funeral Home. Funeral services followed at 1 p.m. at the funeral home chapel.

Interment will be at Arlington Cemetery in Sandy Springs.

McDonald and Son Funeral Home of Cumming was in charge of the arrangements.
