Ruth Bruce, 70, of Dahlonega, died Dec. 23, 2010.

Born Feb. 26, 1940 in Lumpkin County to the late Elda and Viola Bryan, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Bruce; and a brother, Ralph Bryan.

Survivors include her brother and sister-in-law, Raymond and Margie Bryan of Dahlonega; sisters-in-law and brother-in-law, Blondine Bryan of Dahlonega,

Linda Bruce, Diane Bruce, Donna and David Nix, all of Dawsonville; brothers-in-law and sister-in-law, David Bruce, Clayton and Lynn Bruce, all of Dawsonville; various other relatives also survive.

Interment services were held at 2 p.m. Dec. 24 at Dawsonville Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Terry Fields officiating.

Bearden Funeral Home of Dawsonville was in charge of the arrangements.
