Rubydean Holtzclaw, 85, of Cumming, died Dec. 30, 2011.

Rubydean was a lifelong resident of Forsyth County and a member of Coal Mountain Baptist Church, where she belonged to the WMU.

Her husband, Egbert Holtzclaw; son, Troy Dean Holtzclaw; and a great-grandson, Abram Joshua Ayers, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Loyd and Deborah Holtzclaw, Kenneth and Shyrl Holtzclaw, all of Cumming, Ricky and Debbie Holtzclaw of Dawsonville; grandchildren, Wesley Holtzclaw, Lanny Holtzclaw, Rhonda Holtzclaw Clark, Christopher Holtzclaw, Kimberly Holtzclaw Evans, Todd Holtzclaw, Michele Gunter, Dori Ayers; 16 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; various other relatives also survive.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Jan. 1 in the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Stephen Davis, Christopher Holtzclaw and Dr. Randy Smith officiating. Interment followed at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens.

Ingram Funeral Home and Crematory of Cumming was in charge of the arrangements.
