Rose Anderson Goswick, 97, of Vero Beach, Fla., and formerly of Sugar Hill, died May 3, 2014.
Mrs. Goswick was born April 10, 1917 in Dawsonville. She was a graduate of North Georgia College in Dahlonega and Oglethorpe University in Atlanta.
She was a retired elementary school teacher from the Gwinnett County Public School System with 30 years of service, having taught at Harmony Elementary and Sugar Hill Elementary schools.
She was a member of the Gwinnett County Retired Teachers' Association and a member of West Buford Baptist Church in Buford.
Her husband, Hoyt Goswick, preceded her in death.
Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Stan and Belinda Goswick of Vero Beach, Fla., Steve and Alice Goswick of Stuart, Fla.; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; various other relatives also survive.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. May 8 at Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery in Dawsonville.
Flanigan Funeral Home and Crematory of Buford is in charge of the arrangements.
