Ronald Eugene Hastings, 64, of Cumming, formerly of Summerfield, Fla., died July 13, 2014.

Survivors include his wife, Martha Hastings of Cumming; parents, Wilford and Jennie Akins Hastings of Summerfield, Fla.; children, Stefanie Hastings of Canton, Tim Crawford of Texas; sister and brother-in-law, Debbie and Ken Emery of Marietta; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Chet and Fran Derck of Dawsonville; various other relatives also survive.

Memorial services were held at 1 p.m. July 16 in the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Lee Gaddis officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Embracing Hospice-Cumming, 8013 Majors Rd., Cumming, GA 30041.

Ingram Funeral Home and Crematory of Cumming was in charge of the arrangements.
