Robert "Bob" Joseph Suhoza, 68, of Dawsonville, died Oct. 8, 2013.
Born Oct. 11, 1944 in Norwalk, Conn., he had lived in Dawsonville for the last 10 years.
Bob worked for the Perkin Elmer Corp. in Connecticut for many years in their customer service group. He loved all things in nature, gardening, nature walks and the seashore. He adored foods, cooking and entertaining. Bob devoted his time to volunteering with CHP and various church functions.
His parents, Jennie and Joseph Suhoza, preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife, Deborah Barrett Suhoza of Dawsonville; a son and daughter, Robert and Sarah; grandson, Chase; brother, Richard Suhoza; sister-in-law, Evelyn Suhoza of Dawsonville; niece, Caroline Wyman of Marietta; nephew, Chris Suhoza of Collierville, Tenn.; great-nieces and great-nephews, Charlie, Tyler, Ethan and Lucy Wyman, Camden, Ellison and Emerson Suhoza; various other relatives also survive.
Memorial services were held at 7 p.m. Oct. 11 at Dahlonega United Methodist Church.
In lieu of flowers, the family requested donations be made to the Dahlonega United Methodist Church or any cancer research charity of your choosing.
McDonald and Son Funeral Home and Crematory of Cumming was in charge of the arrangements.
