Richard Danfroth "Dick" Hinkley, 82, of Cumming died July 19, 2017. Dick was born in Greenfield, Mass., on May 17, 1935, graduated from Greenfield High School, class of 1953, and the University of Massachusetts in 1957 with a B.S. in forestry. He married his home town sweetheart, Alice Shippey Hinkley and served in the United States Army before moving on to a 10-year career with the United States Forest Service.
