Rhonda Davis, 57, of Dawsonville, died Nov. 6, 2017.
Born Jan. 31, 1960 in Bryson City, N.C., she had lived in Dawson County since 1973 having moved from Cartersville.
A homemaker at her death, she served many years as a Children’s Pastor. Rhonda enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was a member of Chestatee Worship Center.
Her father, General Stepp, and a brother, Bobby Stepp, preceded her in death.
Survivors include her husband of 40 years, Keith Davis of Dawsonville; children, Kris and Mandy Davis of Dahonega, Amber Askew of Cumming; grandchildren, Cherith Davis, Harley Davis, Kristian Davis, Hannah Pulley, Alyssa Pulley, Chase Askew, Mason Askew, Aidan Askew, Camden Askew, Amanda Rider; mother, Shirley Stepp of Dawsonville; brothers and sisters-in-law, Jimmy and Theresa Stepp of Cumming, Ricky and Regina Stepp of Dawsonville, Kristy Stepp of Dahlonega; various other relatives also survive.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Nov. 8 at Chestatee Worship Center with Pastor Ricky Stepp officiating. Interment followed in the Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family received friends from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Nov. 7 at the funeral home.
