Rev. James Samuel Sam Cranford

The Rev. James Samuel "Sam" Cranford, 93, of Dawsonville, died Feb. 6, 2015.

Sam was a loving brother to all of his siblings.

He was a licensed minister and a member of Lebanon Baptist Church.

His parents, Henry and Lillie Cranford; brother, Mac Cranford; brother and sister-in-law, Henry Lee and Ruthie Cranford; sisters and brothers-in-law, Daisy and Manuel Evans, Maggie Cranford, Mary Free, J.B. Evans and Dale Moore, preceded him in death.

Survivors include his brother, Robert "R.V." Cranford; sisters, Nellie Evans, Kate Evans, Susie Moore; various other relatives also survive.

Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Feb. 8 in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home with the Revs. Brandon Benefield and Kenny Sutton officiating. Interment followed in Concord Baptist Church Cemetery.

Ingram Funeral Home and Crematory of Cumming was in charge of the arrangements.
