Rev. Anthony Lamar Day

The Rev. Anthony Lamar Day, 41, of Dahlonega, died May 4, 2013.

He was a member of Corinth Baptist Church.

His grandparents, Edwin and Mable Day, Tommy and Betty Hamby, preceded him in death.

Survivors include his children, Bethany Taylor Day of Jefferson (mother, Karen Simmons), Austin Hunter Day of Oak Grove, Mo. (mother, Tracy Mallory Day); parents, Lamar and Sherry Day of Dahlonega, formerly of Cumming; brother, Jason Ashley Day of Dahlonega; aunt, Teresa Mitchell of Dawsonville; uncle and aunt, David and Louise Martin of Cumming; various other relatives also survive.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. May 8 in the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Rex Byrd, Tim Pruitt, Ray Berry and Tom Stradley officiating. Interment will follow in Sawnee View Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the hour of service May 8 at the funeral home.

Ingram Funeral Home and Crematory of Cumming is in charge of the arrangements.
