Raymond “Ray” Wells, 74, of Dawsonville, died Jan. 26, 2019.
Mr. Wells was born June 13, 1944 in the old Downey Hospital in Gainesville.
He was formerly employed by AT&T after which he owned and operated Westside Electronics in Gainesville. Ray enjoyed restoring automobiles.
His mother and stepfather, Aline and Floyd Stowers; and a brother, Donald Stowers, preceded him in death.
Surviving include Brenda Good of Dawsonville; sisters and brothers-in-law, Henrietta and Ron Delvinthal of Gainesville, Harriett Wells of Baldwin, Joyce and Frank Garrett of Gainesville, Jolene Smith of Goldsboro, N.C.; brother and sister-in-law, Arnold and Ellen Stowers of Gainesville; various other relatives also survive.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Jan. 31 in the Bearden Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tony Holtzclaw officiating. Interment followed in the Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from noon to 2 p.m. Jan. 31.
