Ray Anderson Flowers, 72, of Dawsonville, died Jan. 3, 2010.

  

Born Dec. 12, 1937 in Ozark, Ala., to the late Ray and Oleeta Flowers, Mr. Flowers moved to Dawson County 3 years ago from Hartselle, Ala.

  

He retired from 3-M after 30 years of service and was devoted to his family, friends and religious service.

  

Mr. Flowers was a member of the Dawsonville Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses.

  

Survivors include his children, Joel and Kerry Flowers of Rio Linda, Calif., Gayle and Paul Jones of Dawsonville, Susan and Richard Roberts of Fayetteville, N.C., Kathy Miller and Harvey Barth of Spring Hill, Fla., Brad and Kelly Flowers of Huntsville, Ala., Ben and Stephanie Flowers of Thompson Station, Tenn., Ellyn and Justin Cutler of Brentwood, Tenn.; sister, Rentha Flowers of Lake Mary, Fla.; brother, David Flowers of West Simsbury, Conn.; 13 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; various other relatives also survive.

  

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 9 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, Dawsonville.

  

Bearden Funeral Home of Dawsonville is in charge of the arrangements.
