Ralph Gutierrez, 84, of Dawsonville, died Nov. 10, 2013.

Born May 7, 1929 in Detroit, to the late Pilar and Lucy Gutierrez, he had lived in Dawson County for the past 14 years.

Mr. Gutierrez retired as a driver for Express Freight Lines after more than 20 years of service.

After his retirement he was employed by Walmart for five years.

He was a member of the Dawsonville United Methodist Church.

His granddaughter, Tiffany Varana; son, Dave DeBusk; sister, Molly, Isabelle, Fina; and brothers, Lawrence and Tony, preceded him in death.

Survivors include his wife of 34 years, Sharon Gutierrez of Dawsonville; children, Marty Gutierrez, Cindy and Craig Lippers, all of Warren, Mich, Daniel Gutierrez of Dawsonville, Kathy and John Kaiser of Florida, Bobbi and Sean Smith, Shelly Bonnette, all of Dawsonville; 20 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; various other relatives also survive.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Nov. 14 at Bearden Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Sean Smith officiating. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. at the funeral home.

Bearden Funeral Home of Dawsonville was in charge of the arrangements.
