Pat Jones, 86, of Jasper, died Nov. 7, 2018.

Mrs. Jones retired as a teacher from the Dawson County Board of Education and was an active member of Cool Springs Baptist Church.  She enjoyed oil painting and loved kids.

Her husband, Joe C. Jones, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her children, Al Kellogg (Charlene), Chuck Kellogg (Wanda), Andy Kellogg (Michelle), Susie Gouge and Joan Hughes (Pete); 17 grandchildren; a host of great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren; various other relatives also survive.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Nov. 10 in the Sosebee Memorial Chapel with Rev. Pete Hughes and Rev. Bobby McFarland officiating.  Interment followed in Cool Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.

 The family received friends from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Nov. 8, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Nov. 9 and from 9 a.m. until the service time Nov. 10 at the funeral home

Sosebee Funeral Home of Canton was in charge of the arrangements.
