Pamela Kay Thompson died Oct. 25, 2013.

Pam was born Dec. 3, 1956, and was a lifelong resident of Cherokee and Forsyth counties. She was retired from the State of Georgia Public Health department and was an active member of Longstreet Baptist Church.

Pam was an inspiration to everyone that knew her. She was a selfless person and tried to be the best Christian she could. Pam was loved by everyone and will be dearly missed.

She was the daughter of the late Rev. Paul and Grace Thompson.

Her brother, Jimmy Thompson; and a nephew, Ricky Nabors, also preceded her in death.

Survivors include her brother and sister-in-law, David and Linda Thompson; sister, Jeanette Vaughters; sister-in-law, Willene Thompson; nieces and nephews, Tommy and Brip Thompson, Sammy Thompson, Hal and Sherry Thompson, Cris Nabors, Steve and Amy Sinnamon, Stevie and Donna Sheriff, Russell and Susan Vaughters, Casey and Stephanie Norris, Mindy Thompson, Brody Thompson, Alex Nabors, Kayla Guinn, Dalyn Guinn, Cody Sheriff, Amber Sheriff, Taylor Vaughters, Ashley Vaughters and Levi Norris; various other relatives also survive.

Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Oct. 28 at Longstreet Baptist Church with the Revs. Larry Pollard, Doug Carnes, Terry Caylor and Gerral Richards officiating. Interment followed at Longstreet Baptist Church Cemetery.

Ingram Funeral Home of Cumming was in charge of the arrangements.
