Ollie Ralston, 94, of Cumming, died Saturday, Jan. 9, 2010.

  

Born Feb. 14, 1916 in Lumpkin County to the late John W. Sr. and Ella Perry Ralston, she lived most of her life in Atlanta.

  

Ollie retired from Fulton Bag Cotton Mill after over 30 years of service. She was a member of the Grace Chapter #551 of the Order of the Eastern Star and was a member of Mill Creek Baptist Church.

  

Her sisters, Clara Barker, Laura Ralston; brothers, William Isaac Ralston, J.D. Ralston, and John W. “June Bug” Ralston Jr., preceded her in death.

  

Survivors include her sisters, Katie Shelton of Buford, Jimmie Nell Hamby of Cumming, Geneva Smith of Chickamauga, Martha Taylor of Dawsonville; brother and sisters-in-law, Charles and Brenda Ralston of Bonaire, Lethia Ralston of Conyers; special great-great-nephew, Andrew B. Shelton of Dawsonville; 17 nieces and nephews; various other relatives also survive.

  

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 12 at Bearden Funeral home Chapel with the Rev. Cecil Reeves officiating. Interment followed in the Mill Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
