Norris “Sooner” Goss, 71, of Dawsonville, died July 20, 2010.

  

He was a member of Bethany Baptist Church.

  

His father and mother, Gartrell and Willie Goss; and brothers, Jerry, Gaston and Bo Goss, preceded him in death.

  

Survivors include his wife, Jean (Gunter Coleman) Goss of Dawsonville; children, Roxyann Quarles of Chatsworth, Stoney and April Goss, Danna and Joe Taylor, Anthony and Lisa Coleman, all of Cumming, Tracey and Scott Richardson of Ball Ground, Darlene Coleman of Alpharetta, Robbie and Donna Coleman of Dahlonega; brothers and sister-in-law, Miles and Jean Goss, Ronnie Goss, all of Cumming; sister and brother-in-law, Joan and Rainey Rhoden of Cumming; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; various other relatives also survive.

  

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. July 23 at Bethany Baptist Church with the Revs. Leroy Blackwell, Don Westray, Bill Gunter and Monroe Gunter officiating.

  

Interment followed in Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery.

  

Ingram Funeral Home and Crematory of Cumming was in charge of the arrangements.
