Montine Richards, 90, of Alpharetta died Sept. 12, 2014.

She loved serving God, loved her family and her dog, Jolly.

A lifelong member of Longstreet Baptist Church, she was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Richards.

Survivors include her son, the Rev. Rex (Grayce) Richards of Lawrenceville; daughter, Judy (Ron) Turner of Alpharetta; four grandchildren, Dimitra (Mike) Solomon of Bethlehem, Perry (Stephanie) Richards of Granger, Ind., Kelly (Brandon) Lorenzen of Ball Ground, Justin (Candace) Turner of Adairsville; six great- grandchildren, Zachary Richards, Madison Lorenzen, Makena Lorenzen, Elsa Lorenzen, Judah Lorenzen and Will Turner; sisters, Joelene Walls of Cumming, Louise Castleberry of Cumming, Shirley (Marcus) Holtzclaw of Cumming; sisters-in-law, Charlotte Gravitt of Cumming, Margrit Gravitt of Kennesaw; many nieces and nephews; various other relatives also survive.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Sept. 15 at Longstreet Baptist Church with the Revs. Doug Carnes and Bud Sutton officiating.

Interment followed at Longstreet Baptist Church Cemetery.

Ingram Funeral Home & Crematory in Cumming was in charge of the arrangements.
