Mary Catherine Turner, 72, of Dawsonville, died March 2, 2018.
She was born to the late Raymond and Mae Davis. She resided in Dawsonville for the past 22 years. She was a loving mother and grandmother who loved to play bingo and cheer on her Atlanta Braves as well as all other sports. She was a member of the Faternal Order of the Eagles for over 30 years.
Her husband, J. L. Turner; brothers, James Davis, Bill Davis; and sister, Patricia Vetten, preceded her in death.
Survivors include her children, Ronda and Kelly Edwards of Dawsonville, Randy and Angela Turner of Lawrenceville; sister, Evelyn Hyrns of Jasper; brothers, Ernie and Teresa Davis of Lithonia, Raymond Davis of Jackson; grandchildren, Dayna Edwards of Dawsonville, Dalton Edwards of Dawsonville, Kyle Turner of Lawrenceville, Dylan Edwards of Dawsonville; various other relatives also survive.
Funeral Services were held at 11 a.m. March 5 in the Bearden Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Scott Sorrells officiating. Interment followed at Rest Haven Cemetery in Alpharetta.
The family received friends from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. March 4 at the funeral home.
Bearden Funeral Home of Dawsonville was in charge of the arrangements.
