Martha Sue Grindle, 71, of Forsyth County, died June 14, 2010.

She was a member of Crossroads Baptist Church.

Her mother, Madge Hicks; father and stepmother, Edmond and Corrine Hicks preceded her in death.

Survivors include her husband, J.T. "Billy" Grindle of Dawsonville; daughter and son-in-law, Cindy and John Mashburn of Cumming; sons and daughter-in-law, Charles and Vickie Grindle, Marvin Grindle, all of Dawsonville; sister, Shirley Humphries of Pelham; brothers and sisters-in-law, Cloyse and Loyce Hicks of Cumming, Lanny and Carolyn Hicks of Dawsonville; grandchildren, Marialice Mashburn, Andrew and wife Jennifer Grindle, Samuel Mashburn, Katie Grindle, Theodore Mashburn, Marguerite Mashburn; various other relatives also survive.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. June 17 in the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Gerald Blackburn officiating. Interment followed in Sawnee View Memorial Gardens.

Ingram Funeral Home and Crematory of Cumming was in charge of the arrangements.
