After Marie’s family moved to Utica, Marie graduated from Proctor High School. Marie was a private executive secretary with GE and Company, where she met the love of her life, John Luranc. They were married June 10, 1961. They lived in Utica, where their first child, a son, Joseph was born. In 1979, the family moved back to Ormond Beach, Fla. until 1983. The family then moved to Barrington, Ill. where Marie worked as a secretary at Barrington High School.
