Lillie Mae Fields, 93, of Dahlonega, died Jan. 14, 2016. Born Oct. 26, 1922 in Atlanta, to the late King and Mamie Wallis, she lived in Lumpkin County since 2004, having moved from Canton. A homemaker at her death, for several years she owned and operated Midway Restaurant in Forsyth County.
