Leonard Evans, 90, of Cumming, died Nov. 9, 2017. He has finished his journey here on Earth and has gone to be with his Heavenly Father and his grandson, Cody. Leonard was a deacon at Lebanon Baptist Church for 66 years and a pillar of the community. He was a custodian at Forsyth Central High School where he was loved by all students and faculty. Papa was truly an angel that walked the Earth. He loved and was loved by all that knew him. His grandson, Joshua Cody Evans; his parents, Henry and Ella Evans; his brothers, JB Evans, Manuel Evans; and his sisters, Ruby Nichols and Ruthie Cranford, preceded him in death.
