Larry Cohran

Larry Cohran, 77, of McDonough, died May 15, 2013.

Mr. Cohran was born Dec. 27, 1935 in Atlanta, to the late Francis and Mildred Cohran.

He was a practicing self-employed attorney and had served as judge in both Cobb and Henry counties.

Larry possessed a passion for automobile repair and restoration and formerly owned MB Service Center in Marietta.

Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Carol Cohran of McDonough; daughters and son-in-law, Kim and James Tankersley of Dawsonville, Laura Shonk of Kennesaw; grandchildren, Larry Cohen, Hunter Tankersley, Josh Mulkey, Amber Hammock, Kelsie Shonk; several great-grandchildren; various other relatives also survive.

Memorial services were held at 3 p.m. May 18 at Harmony Baptist Church with the Rev. Joey Gilbert and Mr. Wayne Bias officiating.

Bearden Funeral Home of Dawsonville was in charge of the arrangements.
