Lance Browder, 51, of Dawsonville, died Sunday, Nov. 9, 2008 at Northside Hospital-Forsyth.

  

A native of Fulton County, he had lived in Dawson County for the past year having moved from Forsyth County.

  

Mr. Browder was employed as a land surveyor and enjoyed spending time working in his yard. He was an avid football fan and was known for his loving spirit and kind soul.

  

Survivors include his children, Lacy Leigh Browder, Kipp Browder, both of Danville, Va.; mother, Sandra Bryan of Dawsonville; sisters and brother-in-law, Pam Elledge, Allyson and Clint Decker, all of Dawsonville; brothers and sister-in-law, Allan and Joanie Browder of Dawsonville, Steven Browder of Covington, Tenn., Sean Browder of Tenn.; companion, Sara Strickland of Dawsonville; nieces and nephews, Justin and Brandy Browder, Savannah Browder, Dustin Ingram, Slayter Haney, Valen Decker, Ansley Browder; various other relatives also survive.

  

Memorial services were Nov. 13 at 4 p.m. at Bearden Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bryan Lake officiating.

  

Bearden Funeral Home of Dawsonville was in charge of the arrangements.
