Kenneth "Kenny" Poe, 58, of Dawsonville, died May 15, 2010.
Born Aug. 15, 1951 in Ogden, Utah to the late Herbert and Aline Poe, he had lived in Dawsonville since 1993 having moved from Panola, Texas.
Nordson Corporation and Ingles formerly employed Mr. Poe.
He was a U.S. Air Force veteran of Vietnam and served 15 years in the armed service.
His sister, Kellie Poe Humphreys; and brother, Herbert Anthony Poe, preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife, Patty Poe of Dawsonville; children, Robert and Jamie Poe of Cleveland, Ohio, Ginger and Billy Idle of Cincinnati, Ohio, Amanda and Steven Sosebee, Jami Poe, Joshua Poe, all of Dawsonville; sister, Karen Schawlean of Dallas, Texas; brothers, George Poe, Stephen Poe, both of Panola, Texas; four grandchildren; various other relatives also survive.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. May 18 at Bearden Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Tim Bennett officiating. Interment followed in the Georgia National Cemetery at 1:30 p.m.
Bearden Funeral Home of Dawsonville was in charge of the arrangements.
