Katie Glover Emerson, 39, died Oct. 18, 2013.

She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend.

Survivors include her husband, Kyle Emerson of Cumming; children, Ben, Josiah and Anna Gracelyn, all of Cumming; father and mother, David and Lee Glover of Gainesville; sister and brother-in-law, Anna Lee and Jeff Walding and children, River and Waverly, all of Dothan, Ala.; Art and Samantha Moss, and children, Hunter, Madison and Landon, all of Pine Mountain; special aunt, Lynda Dean of Johns Creek; Kyle's parents, Ron and Katherine Miller of Anniston, Ala., Kyle's sister and her husband, Katie and Sidney Mitchell, and children, Emerson, Caroline and Sidney, all of Greenville, S.C.; Kyle's brother, Stuart Emerson of Charlotte, N.C.; Kyle's stepsister and her husband, Dana and Jeff Hanshaw and children, Hunter and Jaden, all of Anniston, Ala.; Kyle's stepsister and her husband, Whitney and Quentin Arenth, and son, Miller, all of Oxford, Ala.; grandmother, Frances Archer of Johns Creek; Kyle's grandmother, Eleanor Emerson of Anniston, Ala.; various other relatives also survive.

Services were held at 2 p.m. Oct. 25 at Grace Chapel Church in Cumming. Graveside services followed immediately at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens in Cumming.

In lieu of flowers, donations were requested made to: PURE Ministries - Zachariah's Way (the ministry that began as a result of the life of Katie and Kyle's son, Zachariah Emerson), whose mission is to awaken the Body of Christ to the needs and blessing of people and families affected by disabilities, P.O. Box 5565, Gainesville, GA 30504.

Donations were also requested made to: Grace Fellowship of South Forsyth, Memo: The Emerson Children Trust Fund, 7115 Collingsworth Place, Cumming, GA 30041.

Ingram Funeral Home and Crematory of Cumming was in charge of the arrangements.
