Kathleen M. Setterberg, 71, of Dawsonville, died Jan. 11, 2016.
Born Nov. 17, 1944 in Minneapolis, Minn., to the late Joseph and Helen Prew, she had been a resident of Dawsonville for more than 20 years. A very devout Catholic, Mrs. Setterberg was a member and very active in Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church.
She retired after 35 years of service as a registered nurse for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.
An avid poker player, she enjoyed playing in games and tournaments where she would regularly win.
She also enjoyed shopping and had a great love for her family and friends.
Her husband, Richard L. Setterberg, preceded her in death.
Survivors include her children, Mike and Joanna Setterberg of Yelm, Wash., Alison and David Jett of Dawsonville; brothers and sisters-in-law, James and Helen Prew of Illinois, John and Karen Prew of Minnesota; sister and brother-in-law, Michele and Michael Colias of Florida; grandchildren, Zachary Setterberg, Kaitlyn Setterberg, Haley Jett and Lindsay Jett; various other relatives also survive.
A Rosary was said at 11 a.m. Jan. 18, followed by a funeral mass at 11:30 a.m. at Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church. The Fr. Brian Higgins officiated. A reception followed the funeral mass.
Entombment services were held at 11:30 a.m. Jan. 19 at Georgia National Cemetery.

Bearden Funeral Home of Dawsonville was in charge of the arrangements.
