Kate H. Corn, 84, of Cumming, died Aug. 26, 2013.

Kate was a founding member of Grace Baptist Church.

She was a loving mother, grandmother and wife.

Her husband, Pierce H. Corn; daughter, Joyce Corn Roberts; parents, Jeff and Lilly Heard; siblings, Mildred Bottoms, Roy Heard, Bud Heard, Dean Corn and Bobbie Stripland, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Dennis and Guy Ann Corn; daughter and son-in-law, Alice and Tim Holland; son and daughter-in-law, John and Laura Corn; son-in-law, Jerry Roberts; sister, Artie Hammond; brother, Hugh Heard; 11 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; various other relatives also survive.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Aug. 28 in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home with the Rev. Chuck Allen officiating. Entombment will follow at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1 p.m. until the hour of service Aug. 28.
