Johnny Lamar Pugh, 63, of Dawsonville, died Dec. 31, 2011.

Survivors include his wife, Linda Sue Pugh of Dawsonville; children, Michael and Janet Pugh, Jeremy and Tina Pugh, all of Dawsonville, Charlie and Mary Pugh of Cleveland, Ga., Joey and Michelle Edmondson of Cumming; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sister, Margie Garrett of Georgetown, Ky.; brother, Jackie Pugh of Alabama; mother-in-law, Irene Samples Charles of Jasper; four sisters-in-law, Judy Popham of Nelson, Jan and Carl Popham of Ball Ground, Peggy Samples of Houschton, Ellen Samples of Cumming; brother-in-law, Junior White of Fairmount; various other relatives also survive.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Jan. 2 at the Sosebee Memorial Chapel with the Revs. Joe Hulsey and Ruel Martin officiating. Interment followed in the Riverside Baptist Church Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requested that donations be made to the Johnny Pugh memorial fund in care of Sosebee Funeral Home.

Sosebee Funeral Home of Canton was in charge of the arrangements.
