John Vernon Bryant, 71, of Marble Hill died Oct. 10, 2017. Born Sept. 16, 1946 in McKeesport, Penn. to the late Vernon and Josephine Bryant, he lived in Dawson County for the past 13 years having moved from Roswell. Mr. Bryant retired as a building contractor specializing in residential construction. He was a US Marine Corps veteran of Viet Nam and was a member of the Viet Nam Veterans of America. He enjoyed bass fishing and was a member of River Bend Gun Club where he enjoyed competing in action pistol matches. He was a member of Grace Presbyterian Church.
