Joey Edgil, 48, of Cumming, died March 19, 2011.

He was a member of River of Life Church of God.

Joey was a 1981 graduate of Forsyth County High School and he loved to fish.

He was active in everything his children, Joseph and Lindsay, were involved in.

His father, Jim Edgil, preceded him in death.

Survivors include his mother, Donna Edgil of Cumming; son and daughter-in-law, Joseph and Courtney Edgil of Dawsonville; daughter, Lindsay Edgil of Cumming; grandchildren, Rylie and Kovi; sister, Kelly Edgil Newton of Kennesaw; nephews, Nathan and Cody; niece, Chase; various other relatives also survive.

Memorial services will be held at 7 p.m. March 28 at River of Life Church of God in Cumming with the Pastor Jason Bailey officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the family to offset funeral expenses.

Ingram Funeral Home and Crematory of Cumming is in charge of the arrangements.
