Joan A. Little, 61, of Waleska, died Dec. 5, 2017.
Born June 24, 1956 to the late E. R. “Chick” and Cora Hardin, Joan was a native of Dawson County but had lived in Cherokee County for the past 40 years. She retired from the Cherokee County School System after 22 years of service.
Her husband, Billy Little; and brothers, Bobby Hardin and Wesley Hardin, preceded her in death.
Survivors include her children, Dr. Misty West and Albert Angeli of Klamath Falls, Ore., Bobby and Amanda Little of Waleska; stepchildren, Karla Little of Talking Rock, Billy Little of Marble Hill, Angel Little of Waleska; 14 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; sisters, Susan Shires of Forest City, N.C., Janice Fleming of Dawsonville, Helen Lomax of Dawsonville; brothers, Robert Hardin of Dawsonville, Danny Hardin of McCaysville, Douglas Hardin of Kentucky; various other relatives also survive.
Graveside services were scheduled for 3 p.m. Dec. 8 at the Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Waleska.
Bearden Funeral Home of Dawsonville was in charge of the arrangements.
