Joan Ellen Coffman, 63, of Dawsonville, died Jan. 13, 2017.

Joan was retired from Lockheed Martin and she was also a graduate of Georgia Tech.

Her father, James Roberts, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her husband, Robert Coffman of Dawsonville; mother, Gloria Roberts of Sarasota, Fla., children, Keith Travis Harrelson and Christina of Braselton, Stacy Harrelson Bridges and Brandon of Asheville, N.C., Jennifer Benton Schubiger and Tony of Cumming; 11 grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 3 to 6 p.m. Jan. 22 at McDonald and Son Funeral Home with memorial services following in the chapel of the funeral home at 6 p.m.

Urn burial will be held at 11 a.m. Jan. 23 in the Georgia National Cemetery.

The family asks that in lieu of flowers, that contributions be made to the Leukemia Foundation, www.lls.org/georgia.

McDonald and Son Funeral Home of Cumming is in charge of the arrangements.
