Jewell Pruitt Adams, 83, of Dawsonville, died Dec. 21, 2016.

Born in Fulton County, she was the daughter of the late Gussie and Lessie Pruitt.

Her beloved husband, L.B. Adams and son, Ben Adams, also preceded her in death.

A long-time member of Shiloh Baptist Church, she was a loving mother and grandmother, who will be greatly missed be her family.

Survivors include her children, Regina and Roger Kelton of Forsyth County, Paul Adams, Nathaniel Adams, both of Cumming, Tim and Jolene Adams of Aledo, Texas; brother, Doyle Pruitt of Dahlonega; sisters, Jettie Capps of Woodstock, Ellen Holland of Cumming; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; various other relatives also survive.

Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Dec. 26 in the chapel of McDonald and Son Funeral Home. She was laid to rest with her husband at Georgia National Cemetery.

McDonald and Son Funeral Home of Cumming was in charge of the arrangements.
