Jerry Dwayne Reed, 28, of Dawsonville, died Aug. 31, 2011.

Born Oct. 19, 1982, Mr. Reed was a lifelong resident of Dawson County. He was a member of Amicalola Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Amber Reed of Dawsonville; children, Hailey Marie and Bo Dwayne, both of Dawsonville; parents, Kenneth and Sherry Reed of Dawsonville; sisters and brothers-in-law, Kathy and Wayne Lipham of Destin Fla., Patsy and Terry Hurst of Ft. Walton Beach, Fla., Michele and Alex Morales of Dawsonville; brother and sister-in-law, Kevin and Teresa Reed of Dawsonville; grandmothers, Eunice Reed of Dawsonville, Grace Howard of Villa Rica; four nieces; five nephews; various other relatives also survive.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Sept. 3 at Bearden Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Tom Stradley officiating. Interment followed in the Amicalola Baptist Church Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations were requested made to assist with final expenses.

Bearden Funeral Home of Dawsonville was in charge of the arrangements.
