James R. Lee, 55, of Dawsonville, died Monday, Jan. 18, 2010.

  

Born June 25, 1954 to the late Rufus and Nellie Lee, he lived most of his life in Forsyth County. Mr. Lee formerly worked as a carpenter after which he was employed by Joe K. Smith Trucking.

  

He was a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church.

  

In addition to his parents, several brothers and sisters also preceded him in death.

  

Survivors include his wife of 11 years, Linda Gail Lee of Dawsonville; children, Christie Lee, Wayne Kuykendoll, William Kuykendoll, all of Cumming, Annie and Steven Robertson of Forsyth County; brothers and sister-in-law, Ronald and Sherry Lee of Cumming, Tommy Joe Lee of Stone Mountain, Timothy Raay Lee of Milledgeville; six grandchildren; various other relatives also survive.

  

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 21 at Zion Hill Baptist Church with the Revs. Randy Wheeler and Doug Callahan officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

  

The family will receive friends all day Wednesday at the funeral home.

  

Bearden Funeral Home of Dawsonville is in charge of the arrangements.
