James "Charli" Hensley, 72, of the Yellow Creek Community, died Aug. 26, 2011.

Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Chris and Tracy Hensley of Marble Hill; brothers and sisters-in-law, Harold and Phyllis Hensley of Jasper, Gene and Katherine Hensley of Dawsonville; sister and brother-in-law, Martha and Henry Green of Dawsonville; granddaughter, Heather Hensley; five nieces; mother of son, Cricket Hensley; various other relatives also survive.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Aug. 28 at Corinth Baptist Church with the Rev. Rodney Pilcher officiating. Pallbearers were: Dale Helton, Leon Bearden, Steve Hart, Chris Hensley, Jason Goforth, Henry Green and Harold and Gene Helsley.

Cagle Funeral Home of Jasper was in charge of the arrangements.
