Jack Forehand Jr., 47, of Dawsonville, died Aug. 20, 2013.

Born Feb. 27, 1966, in Cocoa Beach, Fla. to the late Jack and Mattie Jo Forehand, he had lived in Dawson County for more than 20 years, having moved from Atlanta.

Mr. Forehand was a self-employed tattoo and graphic artist.

His sister, Jackie Forehand; and brothers, Gary Forehand and Buddy Forehand, preceded him in death.

Survivors include his daughter, Ashley Forehand of Dawsonville; fiancé, Donna Strickland of Dahlonega; sisters, Martha Shoemaker of Dawsonville, Marie Pacheco, Vicky Martin, both of Cumming; brother, Larry Forehand of Dawsonville; stepfather, Marcus McClure of Dawsonville; various other relatives also survive.

Memorial services were held at 2 p.m. Aug. 25, in the Bearden Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Kris Woodall officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations were requested to assist with final expenses.

Bearden Funeral Home of Dawsonville was in charge of the arrangements.
