Hoyle Edwin Jett, 73, of Guyton, died May 7, 2013.

Born Dec. 28, 1939, in Dawson County to the late James Carlton and Rosie Lee Jett, he had lived in Guyton for the past 13 years.

Mr. Jett retired from the residential construction industry.

His brother, James Jett, preceded him in death.

Survivors include his wife of 39 years, Sharon Jett of Guyton; children, Christopher and Elsie Jett of Pembroke, Donald and Sarah Jett of Garden City, Jimmy and Elizabeth Jett of Cook, Neb., Johnny Jett of Florida, Judy Jett of Nebraska; brothers, Charles L. Jett of Dawsonville, Ronald L. Jett of Pace, Fla.; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; various other relatives also survive.

The family received friends at Bearden Funeral Home from 6 to 8 p.m. May 9.

Bearden Funeral Home of Dawsonville was in charge of the arrangements.
