Hattie B. Kincaid, 91, of Dawsonville, died Dec. 23, 2016.

Born May 12, 1925 to the late Charlie and Hattie Elizabeth Chester, she was a lifelong resident of Dawson County.

For many years Hattie worked in the poultry industry and was also formerly employed at K-Bar, the Dawson County Senior Center and worked as a caregiver.

She was of the Baptist faith.

Her husband, Osborn Kincaid; grandson, David J. Chester; and several sisters and brothers, also preceded her in death.

Survivors include her sons, Floyd Chester of Cumming, Jimmy Kincaid of Dawsonville; grandson, Jeffrey Allen Chester of Cumming; great-granddaughter, Jessica Marie Chester of Cumming; great-great-granddaughter, Penelope Jade Chester of Cumming; various other relatives also survive.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Dec. 27 in the Bearden Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ronnie Bennett officiating. Interment followed in the Goshen Baptist Church Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations were requested made to the funeral home to assist with final expenses.

Bearden Funeral Home of Dawsonville was in charge of the arrangements.
