Harry Charles Lamar Flowers, 66, of Dawsonville, died April 18, 2019.

He was born to the late, O.D. and Dorothy Flowers.  He was a member of New Life Church of God in Dawsonville. 

Harry was a truck driver for over 50 years and he loved over the road trucking.  He enjoyed working on cars and fishing.  He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. 

He is preceded in death by his brother, Billy Ray Flowers.

Survivors include his loving wife of 50 years, Diane Flowers of Dawsonville; children, LaDonna and Russell Hall of Dawsonville, Ashley and Chris Gilreath of Cumming; brother and sister-in-law, Reggie and Glenda Flowers of Lula; sister and brother-in-law, Gail and Donald Greenway of Gainesville; grandchildren, Keith Hall of Cumming, Summer Gilreath of Cumming; and numerous nieces and nephews; various other relatives also survive.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. April 20 at the Bearden Funeral Home chapel with the Revs. Mike Owens and James Kanaday officiating.  Interment followed at Bethel Tabernacle Church of God in Gainesville.

The family received friends from 4 to 8 p.m. April 19 at the funeral home. 

Bearden Funeral Home of Dawsonville was in charge of the arrangements.
