Evelyn Cowart Little, 83, of Cumming, died May 10, 2013.

Born Dec. 13, 1929, in Forsyth County, to the late Gilbert and Faye Cowart, she lived most of her life in Cumming.

A homemaker at her death, Mrs. Little was formerly employed at Sears, Parsons and Cumming Hardware.

She was a member of Hightower Baptist Church and attended Kilough Church by the Lake.

Her husband, George W. Little; son, Donnie H. Little; and a sister, Lorene Fox, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her children, Deborah and Doug Ramey, Jackie and Jerry Barrett, Sandra and Jeff Hardy, all of Cumming, Vickie and Philip Fields of Duluth, Jennifer and Rich Lyness, Georgia Hawkins, all of Dawsonville; sister and brother-in-law, Doris and Ray Dangar of Canton; 12 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; various other relatives also survive.

Funeral services were held at 5 p.m. May 12 at Kilough Church by the Lake with the Dr. Jeff Burrell officiating. Interment followed in the Hightower Baptist Church Cemetery.

Bearden Funeral Home of Dawsonville was in charge of the arrangements.
