Eugene L. Mayberry, 94, of Dawsonville, died Nov. 14, 2010.

Mr. Mayberry had lived in Dawson County for the past 38 years, having moved from Chamblee.

He was a retired independent insurance adjuster, was a member of McKee's Chapel United Methodist Church and was preceded in death by his wife, Katherine Mayberry.

Survivors include his stepdaughter, Brenda Farr of Jasper; grandchildren, Andy Farr of Alpharetta, Kathy Cote of Roswell; six great-grandchildren; various other relatives also survive.

At his request, Mr. Mayberry was cremated and a memorial service will be held at a later date.

Bearden Funeral Home of Dawsonville was in charge of the arrangements.
