Ethel Mae Odum, 100, of Dawsonville, died Feb. 21, 2019.

Born Oct. 18, 1918 to the late Ed and Bertie Mae Odum, she was a lifelong resident of Dawson County.  Ethel retired from Jesse Jewell following many years of service.  She enjoyed crocheting, cooking, gardening and spent her life in service to others.

Survivors include a host of nieces, nephews; various other relatives also survive.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Feb. 24 in the Bearden Funeral Home Chapel.  Interment followed in Dawsonville Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Feb. 23 at the funeral home.

Bearden Funeral Home of Dawsonville was in charge of the arrangements.
