Earni Pulley, 75, of Dawsonville, died Dec. 31, 2018.

Born Dec. 5, 1943 in Kentucky, Mr. Pulley had been a resident of Dawsonville for almost 30 years. 

He was a U.S. Army veteran who served in Vietnam and attended Glory Divine Baptist Church in Cumming.  For many years he worked as a mechanic on all types of equipment. 

The mother of his children, Carolyn F. Haygood, and daughter, Janet Leora Roser, preceded him in death.

Survivors include his children, Rita Ellen Kauanoe of Alabama, Missy Lucille Bright of Dawsonville, Earniest Lee Pulley, Jr. of Alabama; husband-in-law, Charles Haygood of Dawsonville; 12 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; various other relatives also survive.

A memorial service was held at 2 p.m. Jan. 6 in the Bearden Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Donnie Adams officiating. The family received friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Jan. 4 at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to any charity that helps disabled veterans.

Bearden Funeral Home of Dawsonville was in charge of the arrangements.
