Dorothy L. Samples, 75, of Cumming, died July 23, 2010.

She was a member of Cross Plains Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her husband, Royston Cebern Samples.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Michele and Joey Edmondson of Cumming; sons and daughter-in-law, Tim Samples of Lawrenceville, Stan and Kathy Samples of Big Canoe; sister and brother-in-law, Margaret and Freddie Ford of Alpharetta; six grandchildren, Justin Samples, Becky Samples, David Edmondson, Royston Edmondson, Sierra Edmondson and Chris Samples; two great-grandchildren, Kate Garrett and Ben Samples; various other relatives also survive.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. July 25 at Cross Plains Baptist Church in Alpharetta with the Revs. Charles Dispain and Johnny Purcell officiating.

Interment followed in the church cemetery.

Ingram Funeral Home and Crematory of Cumming was in charge of the arrangements.
