Don Brodt, 65, of Dawsonville, died April 14, 2014.

Born Jan. 25, 1949, in St. Paul, Minn., he had lived in Dawsonville for the past 20 years.

Mr. Brodt was a loving husband and retired electrician.

He loved the North Georgia area, his pet dogs and exercise.

His father, Theodore R. Brodt, preceded him in death.

Survivors include his wife, Gladys A. Brodt of Dawsonville; mother, Bernice M. Brodt of Minnesota; various other relatives also survive.

The family will have private memorial services.

Bearden Funeral Home of Dawsonville was in charge of the arrangements.
